240) Day 8 -- Reason #8 to revolt against Predatory Capitalism

Facebook, Instagram, and obviously X (ex-Twitter) are brainwashing us, en masse, and we're becoming increasingly horrible to each other, as a society. "Follow the money" to see why this is happening.

The amount of $$ held by the world's richest is allowing people like Elon Musk to no longer merely influence government policy from the shadows, but instead to directly manipulate the public -- us -- to elect governments that are increasingly fascist, intolerant, and frankly, terrifying. And it's working.

Governments around the world are experiencing massive, populist shifts towards extreme right-wing and outright fascist parties, winning power for people that just a few years ago would widely, and correctly, have been lampooned and widely rejected as the 21st century's equivalent of 1930s Nazis.

Elon Musk himself is using his platform to interfere with governments not only here in North America, which is absurdly obvious as he literally bought himself a President, but also across Europe. He spreads lies, day-after-day-after-day, designed to whip up hate against immigrants, to pressure gov'ts to free extreme-right-wing/Nazi-like prisoners, to promote hate and fear and intolerance and distrust, to manipulate financial markets, the law, and public policy, and even to smear political opponents with false allegations, that are as serious as them being part of "mass rape" movements.

No shit.

Facebook is following "X" (i.e., former Twitter, now a flat-out fascist propaganda site), by eliminating its fact-checking protocols, and allowing AI-bots to pretend to be real people, thereby flooding our "friends and family" social media site with ILLUSIONS. And you can bet your bottom dollar, if you still have any dollars, that AI-generated content is heavily geared towards one thing -- Trump-style propaganda, and sowing arguments and dissension that make us trust each other less.

Simply put, $$$ is allowing extreme ideologues to brainwash us. As it spreads, and it is, rapidly, world-wide, we will become increasingly less able to even KNOW ABOUT IT, let alone resist it, let alone encourage each other with the truth.

Global oligarchy = global fascism. And it all comes down to the absurd wealth that our system funnels from YOUR POCKETS, to the richest people in the world.
