Much of this blog is an exploration of the journey towards Authenticity.
Who am I?
I’m a Psychologist who specializes in climate change and other macro-scale issues that lay at the intersection of the environment and society. I’m also keenly interested, at a personal level, on healing-from-trauma, the search for fulfillment, and whatever the heck Wisdom may be.
I have always felt like this wild, wonderful, tragic, confusing human life is so potentially beautiful, and yet, SO DAMN HARD. Far too many of us spend our precious moments sub-optimally, or worse, and I would really love, somehow, to contribute something to…fix? change? improve? this.
On a more personal level:
I’m a parent of some wonderful humans who have endlessly enlivened and deepened my life.
I’m a nerd who loves chess, fantasy worlds, and grand tales of loyalty and courage. And I absolutely refuse to give up believing in magic.
I’m a Nature devotee, and my soul’s delight is to walk silently through the deep woods. Who knows? Maybe there are some edible mushrooms to discover!
I’m a trans woman, endlessly grateful for finally waking up to Who I Really Am.
And finally, I’m the partner of an incredible woman who has stolen my heart, enriched my life indescribably, and taught me what True Love really is.
Why should you read my blog?
Well...hopefully you're interested in the kinds of things I write about. That's a good start!
