233) 365 Days, 365 Reasons to Revolt Against Predatory Capitalism: Day 1 -- Reason 1

Hello friends,

As the world increasingly tilts in the direction of "horrible shit", I decided to devote this year to, every day, sharing information about the 1984-like system of control that we are being imprisoned within. Because, while we like to believe we live in a free society, a democracy, and are progressing towards making things better for everyone, the truth is tragically the opposite of that.

So, while we are still able, I strongly feel it's critically necessary to communicate with each other about the nefarious machinations of those who seek to control us, limit our freedoms, and who have the power to shape society in the way that they want.

This goes FAR beyond "left vs. right" politics. This is about basic shit, like Freedom. Human rights. The ability to live in a world of beauty and culture and safety and peace, rather than a prison of control and violence. We are entering humanity's last stand. So, let's talk about it, and figure out how to resist this slide towards hell, and change things for the better.

At the time of making this post, it's Jan 11th, 2025, and I'm on "Day 11" in my Facebook and Bluesky postings about this. So for the next 11 posts, I'm going to play catch-up and update this blog with what has been shared so far on social media. I'm deeply concerned that social media sites, like Facebook, Instagram, OBVIOUSLY "X/Twitter", are rapidly becoming a tool of authoritarianism, and may soon prohibit people from sharing this kind of information at all. So, we do what we can, while we still can.

I encourage you to leave a comment and share ideas about what we can do. Ultimately, we need solutions. We need to rebel against tyrannical control of our society. But first, we need people to KNOW that we need these things. And so, here we go.

* * * * *

Stop for a moment, and really try to make sense of this. Money funnels upwards, and the tax base (i.e., your hours spent working for the dollars you earn) subsidizes it....

How does that make any sense, for 99.9% of us?

(The picture is U.S. stats, but the basic story is the same up here in the Great White North)

The IMMENSE corporate profits that are being raked in by the already-wealthy, are coming at a time when food prices, housing prices, gas prices, all the prices --- are making life increasingly unaffordable for "the average person". The rich are getting WAY richer, while the rest of us struggle, more and more, just to make ends meet.

Understanding this gap between the 1% and the 99% is absolutely key to understanding the way that society is being INTENTIONALLY constructed as a system of control. And we are the ones being controlled.
